Saturday

5th of July

As for today I'll spend two more weeks in Angoulême, I'll leave Angoulême on the 19th and France on the 20th. So I decided to sent some of my belongings home right now. I heard from my internship supers that it's quite expensive and that's definitely true but for books and documents it's very cheap.

The plaza fountain near the palace of Justice (and near the post office).

La Poste, the office I shipped both some of my clothes and some of my books back to the Netherlands.  They should be home before me.

After heading out for the post office, scouting the city for boxes, doing some shopping, posting my packages and heading home again. I finally managed to draw my last 12 pages of storyboard, tomorrow I'm going to draw them bigger. I had such a hard day concentrating today, but I couldn't be to hard on myself and listen to Agent Cooper's advice of giving yourself a gift every day (Agent Cooper the main character of Twin Peaks David Lynch's wonderful creation that I have been watching a lot lately).

In the thought of this I decided to go out in the middle of the day (well French Middle of the day after 2) to this little store, it had caught my eye because of the items in the windows.

Fjallraven Kanken (just like the bag I carry with me except that mine is green). I liked the little figurines they had in the store Sonny Angel I had seen them before. In spirit of Agent Cooper's advice I decided to by myself a surprise.

I hope I don't have the one of the package. I'd like the Japanese Crane, but as long as it's not the snake or the cat I'll be happy.

 Ohhh suspense.

I like the packing reminds me of Kewpie Mayonnaise.
It's the baboon, I really like it such a bold little animal.
So now this little one is on my desk.

I'm drawing some more and then football this evening.
