My Last day of internship

Friday the 18th

My last day in Angoulême really tomorrow I'm leaving to Bordeaux and on Sunday I'll be leaving France.

Tonight I had dinner with Jessica, Matt and their kids.

This is most likely my last post in France, for when I'm traveling I don't really have internet.

Cleaning my room out because it's my last week in France.

Sunday Cleaning day

 My place is a mess and this is my last Sunday in Angoulême so cleaning time.

 Laundry and all.

In the evening I went to watch the Match Argentina Germany at some friends place. And as the dutch say Football is a sport were 22 men run after a ball and in the end Germany wins. True as ever.

Wedsneday updates

I've been watching Twin Peaks and wanted to try and look a little like Audrey Horne, this week.
My internship supervisor was on Holiday so I had time to work on my own comic again.

5th of July

As for today I'll spend two more weeks in Angoulême, I'll leave Angoulême on the 19th and France on the 20th. So I decided to sent some of my belongings home right now. I heard from my internship supers that it's quite expensive and that's definitely true but for books and documents it's very cheap. 

 The plaza fountain near the palace of Justice (and near the post office).

La Poste, the office I shipped both some of my clothes and some of my books back to the Netherlands.  They should be home before me.

Thursday third of July

 Usually I eat my Lunches with Jessica and Matt, today I'm eating my lunch at home and had the chance to take a selfie of my hairdo. I can't believe how short my hair was last year at this time (or how long it is already).

These are a set of plants near the cupcake place I like so much.Here is my bureau and another cupcake I had it was an apple cupcake but it wasn't the best one I had. 

I don't have much to show for work at the moment since I'm mostly an assistant (tracing, drawing background and looking up reverence for Jessica).

Sadly it stormed a lot Saturday and my room was flooded with water because I'd let the window open. So I had to clean the when I came home, well good excuse to clean. 

Friday Night, Don't Ever Let It End

Friday 27th of June,

But really I had a very interesting Friday. I had Lunch with Matt who showed me some Spanish books and they had a bit of a Nobrow feeling to them. He also invited me to come over and have lunch with him, Jessica, Ron, some lady of the French embassy in the USA and the children tomorrow and see the opening of the new expo in the comic book museum.

 I really loved this one, it even had some translation in English underneath every strip.

Warm Sunday

Sunday the 22th of June

Today we had a walk again, in the morning we visited the market and in the afternoon the Angoulême Museum. 

Again the weather was warm they said it would rain today, but it didn't luckily.
