Friday Night, Don't Ever Let It End

Friday 27th of June,

But really I had a very interesting Friday. I had Lunch with Matt who showed me some Spanish books and they had a bit of a Nobrow feeling to them. He also invited me to come over and have lunch with him, Jessica, Ron, some lady of the French embassy in the USA and the children tomorrow and see the opening of the new expo in the comic book museum.

I really loved this one, it even had some translation in English underneath every strip.

For more of my day read under the cut.

At 5 in the afternoon I'd have my farewell party at Atelier du Marquis.  So I went home a little early to drop my laptop at home before going to the party. When I walked home I heard someone play the theme to Howl's moving castle on the violin I looked around but couldn't find out where it came from. It ended before I could find out. Until I entered my building and suddenly the violin player started again apparently from the building across from mine.  I've heard some great guitar music from there before but this time it was the violin. I missed playing my violin at once. I love having all this time to myself and I wanted to play along but since of course I couldn't I just stopped and listened and wondered what kind of person was playing the violin.

It must have come from one of these window's in my imagination it always looks like when you see the silhouette of Sherlock Holmes.
The Number of the door of which one of the tenants plays violin quite wonderfully.
Make no mistakes it's not flawless but I still loved it.
I listened until this person stopped playing. After that I went to Aterlier du Marquis had some talks with everyone there. I had a real good time it was nice seeing everyone again. Sadly Caroline wasn't there later she sent me a mail explaining she was late and I had missed her.

When I went down to go home I had ran into Sylvain and we talked a little. I explained I really dislike socializing and we had a good time laughing at how we comic book artist are all like that, he suggest I'd watch curb your enthusiasm and invited me to come and have a drink with him and some friends at a bar next to my apartment. He said it was cool if I didn't feel like it, but since it was so close I thought oh I can just go for a moment.  I said I'd see him tonight and left him to his cigarettes (all the French smoke).

When heading up my street I walked into Ronald Wimberly who I had met a few times before (usually revert to as Ron) since he was also going to the opening tomorrow we had a little chat. I went home watched some twin peaks ate my dinner and went out again to have a drink with Sylvain. Funny enouh I ran into Ron again and some other Auteurs from MdA Sylvian and his friends joined next to them and I spent a lot of time talking about history with Ron (I might have bored him a little) Hahah but I sure had a good time.
